Xbox Appears To Have Leaked CONTROL Resonant For Xbox Game Pass!

Xbox UK has now taken down the CONTROL Resonant Xbox Game Pass post. We will provide further updates if Xbox UK or Remedy Entertainment makes a formal announcement and confirms or denies the news leak!

Xbox UK appears to have accidentally revealed that CONTROL Resonant is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one and this potentially confirms one of the biggest additions to the service this September.

A newly published post from the official Xbox UK Instagram account promotes Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming action RPG and identifies it as a day-one Xbox Game Pass release. That is particularly surprising because neither Xbox nor Remedy has announced the Xbox Game Pass launch through its usual official channels.

At the time of writing, the Instagram post is still live with no changes and it seems fans in the comments have also spotted this pretty huge announcement if it is true.

With the game due to arrive later in the month, Xbox UK may have published promotional material intended for the second September announcement ahead of schedule but then again we did see this sort of mistake with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse earlier this month.

Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that CONTROL Resonant launches on 24th September 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. A Mac version will follow later in the year.

If the apparent Xbox UK leak is accurate, we could expect a CONTROL Resonant Xbox Game Pass day one launch. That would make it one of the service’s biggest third-party additions of 2026 and an unexpected boost to an already busy month for Xbox players.

For now, the Instagram post is the only apparent confirmation. We will update this article if Xbox or Remedy provides a formal announcement or clarifies exactly where the game will be available.
