Xbox Nation exists to provide honest, informative and engaging coverage of Xbox gaming, hardware, services and industry news surrouding the Xbox Ecoystem. That includes PC, Consoles, Cloud & other devices. Our goal is to serve the gaming community through accurate reporting, fair reviews and transparent editorial practices by our talented team of staff. We aim to build trust with our readers by maintaining editorial independence and clearly separating editorial content from commercial interests.

All editorial decisions made by Xbox Nation are independent and are free from ourside noise and opinions. That means all publishers, developers, advertisers, sponsors, affiliate partners or other third parties do not control our opinions, review scores, coverage decisions or editorial conclusions and we remain focused on keeping our indepedance for years to come.

Advertising relationships and affiliate partnerships never influence review outcomes or news reporting and we will disclose whenever a partnership or sponsorship is live on said games. Our writers and editors are expected to act in the best interests of readers and maintain professional integrity at all times and Fletcher (Our Director) oversees this at all times.

The main thing we want to make clear is that all of our reviews reflect the genuine opinions and experiences of the individual reviewer and many of us have played games for decades. Any of our review scores and conclusions are determined solely by the reviewer and editorial team who have managed to play and complete a game.

I wont lie to you, Xbox Nation may receive review copies of games, hardware or services from publishers, developers or PR representatives but again, receiving a review copy does not guarantee positive coverage.

Review copies do not influence scores, recommendations or editorial judgment and will never play a part in how we make sure we are scoring games correctly and recommending them to our audience (You).

Where relevant, we may disclose when a product or game was provided for review purposes to inform you of our transparency.

Xbox Nation uses a scored review system to help readers quickly understand our overall recommendation and this is done out of a score of 10 as per the traditional standard. This is to keep in line with the industry and make it easier for you to understand.

9	Amazing	An easy recommendation. Outstanding games that excel in most areas and deserve the attention of every Xbox player.
8	Great	Highly enjoyable and well worth your time. While not flawless, these games stand out above the crowd.
7	Good	Solid and enjoyable experiences with noticeable strengths, though held back by some shortcomings.
6	Okay	A mixed experience. Interesting ideas or gameplay elements are present, but significant flaws impact overall enjoyment.
5	Mediocre	Average in most respects. Functional and playable but lacking standout qualities or meaningful innovation.
4	Disappointing	Barely meets acceptable standards. Some redeeming features exist but the experience ultimately falls short.
3	Bad	Poorly executed with major design, gameplay or technical issues that heavily impact enjoyment.
2	Awful	Extremely difficult to recommend. Serious flaws undermine nearly every aspect of the experience.
0–1	Disaster	Fundamentally broken or devoid of meaningful quality. A failure on both technical and creative levels.
