Replaced has been out for less than 24 hours at the time of me making this guide however I have almost completed the game and there are various side missions to complete to unlock health and various other upgrades.
This guide today will focus on the Family Reunion Achievement which tasks you with finding the flower tent after an old man asks you to get his wife and daughter. This takes place in Chapter 4 just after you awaken.
You will then need to solve the “Winter, Second Half, Leap Year” Riddle to open the lock box and although this is complicated it’s fairly straight forward. Let’s walk through how to solve this one.
The note reads:
“winter, second half, leap year.”
Alongside this, you’re given several objects, each with a date attached:
A ring: 02/10/1953
A metal circle (D-Day reference): 06/06/1944
A book of flowers: 05/18/1955
At first glance, these dates seem unrelated. The key is realizing that each clue applies to one specific date.
You then have to match each clue to a date so let’s interpret each part of the note:
Winter
February falls in winter, so this clue points to:
👉 02/10/1953
Second Half
The “second half” refers to the latter part of a month (days 16–31). Among the dates, only one fits:
👉 05/18/1955
Leap Year
A leap year occurs every four years, and 1944 is one of them. This clue matches:
👉 06/06/1944
After putting it all together you get this as the answer:
