Xbox has officially revealed the next wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2026 with 10 titles joining or expanding across the service between August 6th and August 18th.
August has already started strongly following the arrival of Beast of Reincarnation but Xbox players now have even more to look forward to. The latest announcement includes everything from destructive cleaning and underground survival to cricket, dating and precision platforming.
However, this is a slightly unusual Game Pass wave. Many of the games are being introduced to the newer Xbox Game Pass Premium tier after previously being available elsewhere within the service. Only a handful represent completely new day-one additions for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

The full games are not the only benefits coming to Game Pass subscribers this month.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will be able to access the Gears of War: E-Day multiplayer beta from August 6 until August 10. This will provide players with an early opportunity to experience the game’s multiplayer before its full launch.
A 10-hour trial for Madden NFL 27 will also become available through EA Play on August 6. Access to EA Play is included with eligible Game Pass memberships, including Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Unfortunately one previously announced August release will no longer arrive as planned.
Grave Seasons was originally expected to launch into Xbox Game Pass on August 14 but the supernatural farming and murder-mystery RPG has now been delayed until autumn 2026. The delay removes one of the month’s more intriguing day-one releases, although there are still several major additions scheduled for the second half of August.
That includes Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy which is expected to join Xbox Game Pass later in the month.
As always, the latest additions will be accompanied by another group of departures. Four games are currently scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on August 15. Subscribers will therefore have limited time to finish those titles or purchase them using the membership discount before they are removed from the library.

This may not be the most substantial Game Pass Ultimate announcement we have seen, particularly because six of the 10 games are primarily being introduced to Premium. Nevertheless, it gives subscribers several different experiences to choose from while we wait for the larger day-one releases coming later in August.
