By Paula Beaton The weekend is almost here, and as usual Xbox is giving Game Pass users the chance to trial some games at absolutely no additional cost with Free Play Days. This week we’ve got a choice of two great titles!
This is your opportunity to test out certain games before you decide to commit to the full purchase and is a great way to get a feel for whether or not a specific game is for you.
If you decide to buy the full game, all achievements, Gamerscore, and progress will transfer over and in some cases you can even get a special discount.
From today until Sunday, September 20, those with Ultimate, Premium, and Essential Xbox Game Pass will exclusively be able to try the following titles:
Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential subscribers can play Hell Let Loose:Vietnam on Xbox and PC this weekend, starting today, Thursday September 17 until Sunday, September 20.

Ahoy there, shiver me timbers! Sea of Thieves is sailing into a free play days weekend, so all Xbox members can try the game from today until Sunday, September 20 on Xbox and PC — no need for a Game Pass subscription!

To play with Free Play Days this weekend, just head to the individual game page on Xbox.com and click through to the Microsoft Store. Provided you’re signed into your account, you’ll see the option to install the game for free. On console, click the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and scroll down to the Free Play Days collection.
