All the New Games Coming to Xbox in October 2026

We’re not quite sure where September went, but it’s time to take a look at all of the great new games coming to Xbox in October!

Below you’ll find every game coming to Xbox in October 2026 as well as all confirmed Xbox Game Pass games for October so far, including one of the year’s most anticipated first-person shooters, and a terrifying action survival horror from the mind of Clive Barker.

First up, we’re diving into 10 of the biggest releases this month, from Gears of War: E-Day to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

In Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, you take flight as an elite pilot across stunning skies. You’ll participate in challenging dogdights, take on threats, and rise through increasingly difficult missions to earn your wings. Expect breathtaking cinematics, Campaign Mode and fast-paced arcade-style gameplay with powerful weapons to take on your enemies on the battlefield.

Next up is one of the biggest new games coming to Xbox in October. With early access opening on October 1st, Gears of War: E-Day officially lands on Xbox on October 6th. Set fourteen years before the events of the original game,this prequel follows a younger Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they form Bravo Squad to protect civilians during a Locust Horde invasion on Emergence Day on the planet Sera.

Set in the lawless Outer Rim after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Galactic Racer follows lone pilot Shade, who joins The Galactic League, an unsanctioned underground racing circuit. Recruited by the league’s creator, Shade must race to defeat the reigning champion Kestar Bool and settle a personal score.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is the first game set in the Hellraiser universe, and it’s been a long time coming since we first ventured into the world of the Cenobites in the 1987 film, Hellraiser.

This first-person action horror survival game is a completely new chapter in the series. You play as Aidan who must use the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box, to free his girlfriend sunny from the Labyrinth. All your “favorite” Cenobites make an appearance, from Pinhead to Chatterer, Deepthroat and Butterball. It looks truly horrifying, in the best way possible.

Valor Mortis is arriving in the middle of October and this first-person action soulslike sees you play as a 14th-century soldier of Napoleon’s army who has risen from death. You’ll take on terrifying monsters, wield your supernatural abilities, and uncover a conspiracy that could threaten humanity.

Planet Zoo 2 is the sequel to the iconic zoo simulation game and it’s coming to Xbox this month. Construct and manage zoos around the world, fill them with amazing animals and then release them into huge Wildlife Reserves. There are tons of new animals joining the familiar menagerie, and each animal has been brought to life like never before with expressive emotions and natural movements.

One of the best new games coming to Xbox in October — and one of the ones we are most excited for — has to be Castlevania Belmont’s Curse.

This is the 26th entry in the Castlevania series and this time around you’re headed for medieval Paris: 1499, to be exact. With the city aflame, terrifying creatures emerge from the shadows.

Playing as Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont (who defeated Dracula), you must take to the burning streets together, armed with the Vampire Killer, your legendary holy whip, and hunt down the beasts taking over Paris while uncovering the dark conspiracy threatening the city and its inhabitants.

With Toy Story: Retro Roundup, you get five Toy Story games in one! Play Toy Story, Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, Toy Story 2, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Toy Story Racer and A Bug’s Life. The games have seen huge upgrades with quality-of-life improvements and new features, plus tons of behind the scenes content. If you’re a Toy Story fan, this is a must buy.

Out of all the new games coming to Xbox in October, this is one we’re really excited for! Final Fantasy Resonance is a return to the pixel-art world of Final Fantasy and it’s a classic RPG adventure for fans, packed with everything you know and love about the franchise, from crystal to airships and, of course, moogles!

Take on your foes in strategic turn-based battles and call on Visions, echoes of classic Final Fantasy characters, to fight alongside you with their unique skills and abilities.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 bursts onto Xbox later this month and it’s darker and more dangerous than ever before. As war erupts on the Korean Peninsula, Captain Price wages his own war from behind the shadows while a squad of South Korean soldiers fight North Korea on the front lines. When Price’s mission collides with the forces behind the invasion, the war spreads beyond anyone’s control. We also got a glimpse of Mads Mikkelsen as The Archer in the recent campaign trailer shown at the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast.
