Two More Xbox Game Pass Games have been confirmed for September and Q4 2026, so who is up for more new games, eh?
Yesterday we saw a ton of new announcements at the PlayStation State of Play but I noticed that Xbox made two announcements for Xbox Game Pass and these were overshadowed by the anticipation of that livestream.
The first was for Hela: Of Mice & Magic and this is an upcoming co-op adventure landing Day One on Xbox Game Pass sometime during Q4 2026.
The Second Title is one that has been available on Xbox at the start of September but its coming to the Xbox Game Pass Library on September 23. This is Mad King Redemption and it is known as a beat em up roguelike.

“At its core, Hela: of Mice & Magic is about playing together. Designed for up to 4-player co-op, every obstacle players overcome and every victory earned becomes a shared experience, bringing friends and family together. Whether exploring alone or alongside others, players take on the role of a small but agile mouse, helping a kind and wary witch care for the land she has protected for generations. Journey through forests, meadows, wetlands, and burrows, using a magical backpack gifted by the witch to explore further, reach higher, and interact with the world in new and sometimes delightfully relaxing ways.”
Personally I am really excited for Hela to join Xbox Game Pass as it looks like a very good co-op game especially with the winter months coming up soon. This one has amassed over 1 million wish lists on PC alone since its reveal, so there is a lot of hype.
It is a vague date at the moment of Q4 2026 but I assume we may get a firm date around October/November.

As mentioned, this game has been available to purchase on Xbox and it does look good. The reviews on Steam are very positive and it looks like a good addition to the growing library of games.
That gives Xbox Game Pass another September addition alongside a new day-one release to look forward to before the year ends.
