Xbox has officially revealed a fresh wave of new Xbox Game Pass games announced for May 2026 and it’s a big one. The latest update includes a mix of major AAA releases, day-one launches and a wide variety of genres coming across console, PC and cloud.

Here are all the new Xbox Game Pass games announced so far for May:

Final Fantasy V (May 5) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A classic RPG adventure where heroes must protect the elemental crystals. Featuring turn-based combat, deep progression, and a timeless story, this is a must-play for RPG fans.

May 6-7th Releases

Ben 10 Power Trip (May 6) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A colourful open-world adventure where you transform into different aliens, battle enemies, and explore a vibrant world solo or in co-op.

Descenders Next (Game Preview) (May 6) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

An extreme sports experience combining snowboarding and mountainboarding, with online multiplayer and trick-based gameplay.

Wheel World (May 6) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A stylish biking adventure set in a semi-open world, blending exploration, racing, and a unique cosmic story.

Wildgate (May 6) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A PvPvE multiplayer shooter mixing ship combat with first-person action across dangerous environments.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (May 6) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A souls-like action RPG set during the Ming Dynasty, featuring brutal combat and a dark, atmospheric world.

Elite Dangerous (May 12) | Ultimate & Premium

A massive space simulation where you explore the galaxy, trade, fight, and build your reputation in an open-ended sandbox.

DOOM: The Dark Ages (May 14) | Ultimate, Premium & PC

A brutal prequel to modern DOOM, bringing medieval-inspired combat and intense action to Xbox Game Pass day one.

Subnautica 2 (May 14) | Ultimate & PC

A huge underwater survival sequel featuring a new alien world, base building, and co-op gameplay.

May 19th – 31st Releases

Forza Horizon 6 (May 19) | Ultimate & PC

The biggest Xbox release this month. Set in Japan, it features over 500 cars, a massive open world, and a more structured campaign system.

Beastro (May 21)

A chaotic cooking and management game where you run a restaurant using fast-paced mini-games and upgrades.

Luna Abyss (May 21)

A fast-paced sci-fi FPS combining intense combat with psychological storytelling.

Echo Generation 2 (May 27)

A sequel featuring a new story, improved visuals, and a deck-building combat system with over 100 cards.

Crashout Crew (May 28)

A chaotic multiplayer experience focused on destruction, teamwork, and fast-paced gameplay.

RV There Yet? (TBC)

A physics-based co-op driving game where players must survive dangerous terrain using teamwork and clever mechanics.

More Xbox Game Pass Games Still to Be Announced

Microsoft typically reveals Game Pass titles in multiple waves each month, so this isn’t the full lineup just yet. More new Xbox Game Pass games will be announced as May continues.
