The summer gaming season may already be packed with major releases, showcases and announcements but THQ Nordic has officially confirmed that its annual digital event will return on August 7, 2026.
The publisher is promising a mix of brand-new reveals, fresh gameplay footage and updates on several highly anticipated upcoming Xbox titles, making it one of the more interesting showcases still to come this year.
For Xbox players, there are already several confirmed games worth keeping an eye on.
THQ Nordic has confirmed the following games will appear during the showcase:
- The Eternal Life of Goldman
- Titan Quest II
- Wreckfest 2
- The Guild: Europa 1410
- Fatekeeper
- Expeditions: Samurai
- Way of the Hunter 2
THQ Nordic has also teased additional announcements that have yet to be revealed, meaning there could still be a few surprises waiting for viewers.
Of the games currently confirmed, The Eternal Life of Goldman is arguably one of the most intriguing!
The hand-drawn platformer has already attracted plenty of attention thanks to its gorgeous visual style and unique world design. Better still, the game is already confirmed to be heading to Xbox Game Pass making it one of the more anticipated indie releases on the horizon.
Fans will likely be hoping for a release date announcement or an extended gameplay showcase during the event.
One interesting detail from the showcase announcement trailer was a brief glimpse of Reanimal.
While THQ Nordic hasn’t officially confirmed the game for the presentation, its appearance has already sparked speculation among fans.
There is a chance we could see a new trailer, gameplay reveal or perhaps even details on post-launch plans if the game launches beforehand. Given the popularity of Tarsier Studios’ previous work, any Reanimal update would likely generate plenty of excitement.
The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2026 will be streamed live on August 7, 2026.

- Central Europe – 9:00 PM CEST
