Expression Games and Team17 have officially unveiled a brand-new trailer for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, while also confirming that a PC playtest is on the way.
Players can now sign up for a chance to take part in the upcoming test phase and get early access to the game.

The latest trailer gives players a deeper look at what to expect from this new entry in the Hell Let Loose series.
From intense jungle firefights to large-scale battles across varied terrain, the footage highlights the game’s focus on realism and immersive warfare.
Players can expect:
- Aerial combat sequences featuring helicopters
- River-based warfare with heavily armed patrol boats
- Dense jungle environments designed for tactical engagements
- Large-scale coordinated firefights
Much like its World War II predecessor, Hell Let Loose, this new instalment will feature 50 vs 50 player battles across six expansive maps.
Strategy and teamwork remain at the core of the experience, with squad-based gameplay essential for success on the battlefield.
However, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam introduces several new gameplay mechanics that reflect the unique nature of the conflict:
- Helicopters – Used for troop transport, supply delivery, reconnaissance, and aerial support
- Patrol Boats – Heavily armed vessels designed to control waterways and launch attacks from rivers
- Tunnel Systems – Inspired by real-world tactics, allowing players to move underground and ambush enemies
These additions aim to create a more dynamic and unpredictable battlefield compared to previous entries.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is currently expected to launch later this year across:
- PC
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
Early impressions from previous previews have suggested that the game is aiming to expand on the original formula in a meaningful way, particularly by adapting the complex and varied nature of the Vietnam War.
With its emphasis on large-scale battles, strategic gameplay, and new mechanics such as helicopters and tunnel systems, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is shaping up to be an ambitious evolution of the series and as someone who has put in over 1000 hours into Hell Let Loose on Xbox since it launched, I cannot wait to dive in.
