The high-speed arcade racer is set to release on May 21, 2026, bringing explosive Ork-style racing to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and handheld devices with Xbox Play Anywhere support, which is awesome to see.
One of the biggest highlights of Speed Freeks is its wild selection of vehicles. You can build and customize everything from rugged buggies to heavily armed tanks and even airborne choppers.
The customization system allows you to tweak your ride to match your playstyle whether that means focusing on speed, firepower, or pure chaos. There’s also a track creation feature letting players design their own courses and share them with others, adding long-term replay value.

The game launches with multiple modes including:
- Deff Rally – An intense 8v8 race where speed and aggression are key as teams battle toward the finish line.

Both modes combine racing mechanics with heavy combat creating a fast-paced experience where strategy and reflexes matter just as much as driving skill.
Whether you prefer playing alone or jumping into online matches Speed Freeks has options for both. You can race against AI-controlled opponents or dive into multiplayer lobbies for full-on competitive chaos.
The mix of destructible environments, hazardous tracks and weaponized vehicles ensures that no two races feel the same.
