A Huge New Overhaul for the Beloved Series

SEGA has officially confirmed as of today that Football Manager 26 will launch worldwide on November 4, 2025, across PC, Xbox consoles, PS5, Xbox Game Pass and mobile devices. Nintendo Switch players will need to wait an extra month, with that version set for December 4.

A Huge Overhaul for the Series

This year marks one of the biggest shake-ups in FM history, with a brand-new Unity engine, upgraded visuals, and a completely redesigned user interface.

Here’s what’s new in FM26:

Matchday realism: New volumetric animations, based on real-life motion capture, and vastly improved on-pitch visuals.
Premier League license: Fully integrated for the first time, bringing added authenticity to England’s top flight.
Women’s Football debut: Seamlessly integrated into the FM ecosystem with its own expansive database and licensed competitions.
Reimagined UI: More intuitive than ever, designed to cater to both newcomers and series veterans.
Save game carryover: Continue careers from FM23 and FM24 (note: PC saves cannot be transferred to Console versions and vice versa).

Early Access & Pricing

Fans who pre-purchase FM26 on PC will gain access to an early access period roughly two weeks before launch. The game’s standard retail price is £49.99, though some retailers will offer a 10% discount. Of course, if you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you will get a nice little discount due to the game being part of the service!

Game Pass Day One

For those who’d rather wait, Football Manager 26 Is Releasing On Xbox Game Pass with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from launch day, which will be the 4th of November. This is a big grab for Xbox Game Pass and we all thought this may arrive due to the delay of FM25 which was also due to join Xbox Game Pass Day One.
