The Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026 featured more than 20 game reveals, and among them were two upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles that received brand-new trailers.
Both Aphelion and There Are No Ghosts At The Grand were highlighted during the event, giving players another look at their gameplay ahead of their releases.
Interestingly, a potential release date for Super Meat Boy 3D also surfaced this week, although it may not be confirmed just yet.
One of the biggest updates from the showcase was for Aphelion, an atmospheric sci-fi survival adventure that has been on players’ radar for some time.
During the presentation, a new trailer confirmed that Aphelion will launch on April 28, 2026.
The game places players in the role of an astronaut stranded on a frozen alien world. To survive, you must navigate dangerous terrain, endure harsh environmental conditions, and deal with mysterious threats hidden across the icy planet.
Aphelion will launch on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and it will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Another Game Pass title that appeared during the showcase was There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, a quirky and unusual project from developer Friday Sundae.
First revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, the game blends renovation gameplay with supernatural mystery and even musical performances.
The latest trailer shown at the Future Games Show leaned heavily into the musical aspect of the game, featuring a live performance mixed with gameplay footage.
Despite the new trailer, the developers did not reveal a specific release date, although the game is still scheduled to launch sometime in 2026 for Xbox and PC, including Xbox Game Pass.
While not part of the Future Games Show broadcast itself, another upcoming title caught fans’ attention this week.
Super Meat Boy 3D briefly appeared on Nintendo listings with a March 31, 2026 release date. However, that date was quickly removed, leaving fans unsure whether the launch window is accurate.
If the listing was correct, the game could arrive very soon and potentially within the next few weeks.
With Aphelion arriving in April and There Are No Ghosts At The Grand still planned for later this year, Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its lineup of upcoming titles.
The Future Games Show once again highlighted how many developers are bringing their projects to Microsoft’s subscription service.
More announcements are expected throughout the year as we approach major events like Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase.
